Projects
Below is a selection of projects I have carried out at UCL and at my practice LUGADERO.
Alton Estate’s People’s Plan
Between October 2019 and May 2020, the UCL Civic Exchange team carried out the knowledge exchange project ‘Civic Design Exchange: Co-designing Neighbourhoods with Communities’. This project was carried out in partnership with Granville Community Kitchen, which acted as a link between UCL researchers and the residents from two tower block in a North-West London council estate.
Westway Community Street
Lugadero was appointed as the Co-Design Team to facilitate the co-design process for the Westway Truts’s Community Street project.
Community Street is a project to restore and rehabilitate the public realm, green infrastructure and some buildings on the Westway Trust’s land.

Play Wimbledon
A co-design process for re-imagining public spaces: In September 2014, Merton Council and Love Wimbledon, in collaboration with the Design Council, organised Future Wimbledon ideas competition, which call community organisations and professionals to propose a vision for the transformation of Wimbledon Town Centre for 2030, which coincided with the arrival of Crossrail 2 to Wimbledon Station.
